Is there a process to file a grievance related to a violation of the LPPA contract?
Should a member, or members, believe that they've been impacted by an alleged misunderstanding, misuse, or violation of the terms of the LPPA contract, there is a grievance process, as outlined in the LPPA contract. Please note: prior to a formal grievance being filed, and informal meeting including the member and the immediate supervisor must be held, within 20 days of the member's knowledge of the alleged grievance. Should that meeting not end in satisfactory resolution, the formal grievance process can be initiated with written completion of the appropriate grievance form (Addendum 2 in the Contract), no later than 15 days after the previous informal meeting is held.
